Development nanoparticles into new formulations for various applications
Fluorescence intensity is detected in the epidermis and dermis as shown in the picture above. It shows nanoparticles can penetrate the skin. By Investigating new formulation, nanoparticles can be applied to further applications through topical delivery. Topical delivery has the advantage of reducing the dose of drug and minimizing side effects.

It is expected to be applicable to joint-related disease such as arthritis by applying nanoparticles to joints. To confirm if nanoparticles pass through the skin to the joints, nanoparticles were applied to the knee of mouse. As you can see from the above figure, the fluorescence intensity is detected at cartilage and can be applicable to joint-related disease as expected.
